Happy Summer everyone! It's finally arrived! I hope you're all getting ready for some big time summer PARTEE..ing. Before you get all booked, plan on coming down to the Marquee room ( above the uptown theatre) Thursday, July 9th at 9 p.m. and celebrate the Anne and Barbie turn 50 Birthday Bash. Steve Loree will be my special opening guest and a couple of my good friends will sing a song from 1959, the year Barbie and I were born.

It will also be a send off for Diane, Peter and I as we head off to the Vancouver Folk Festival July 17-19th. I'll be starting new recordings in August and keep an eye out for my belated new watercolor prints online, plus plans for my new School of Cool in the fall and a summer wrap up gig at the Ironwood late August, early September.

Here's Barbie sporting her 1959 swimsuit. I was going to sport mine along side of her, but I don't think cyberspace is ready for that. However, I'm being true to my gym pass, so you never know. Cause I think It's nifty, that life begins at 50.
