The sun will come up-tomorrow...

Hi Everyone, hope you're all having a sunny summer. Despite this sunny picture of me, my virtual self in the July sunshine, only a few hours ago I got caught riding my bike home in one of the heaviest downpours I ever experienced and it was COLD!! However, as I passed many a veicle I got the thumbs up and I persevered, knowing my nice warm dry house was only around the bend.

And the around the bend, indeed. I'm more than half finished recording a new batch of tunes. A lot of work, but I'm diggin' the sounds. I'm seeing a fall release and performance with a video of my song "Big Words" featured. It was shot and directed by the amazing Sandi Somers in the amazing historical Lougheed House.

And speaking of the Lougheed House, drop in for brunch on Saturday or Sunday. You may find me playing the Steinway. Also Cantos's busker piano in front of the Glenmore museum on July 29th at noon.

Had my first watercolor show at the South Calgary Art exibition at the end of May. Check out a photo of me from the show and by the time you read this or soon after prints will be available to order on this site. My new friend and artist Laura Pope makes beautiful giglees of my paintings. We're a team.

And speaking of paintings, I'm very proud of my "group of seven".. Music students that is. I snapped a few of the gals. Have a look. I'm looking forward to seeing them again in the fall. Around the bend.

And so it goes. Life can be like a unexpected bike ride in a rain storm. But if you persevere..you'll get the thumbs up. From me, you betcha!!

Tomorrow, tomorrow, there's always tomorrow. It's only a DAY A-WAY!!!!
